Becoming an Ally

You can help to create fairness and justice for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender students, faculty, staff and administration at Century College. Below are resources related to becoming an Ally to the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender (GLBT) community.
MN GLBTA Campus Alliance The Minnesota Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Ally Campus Alliance is a statewide coalition of students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members.
OutFront Minnesota OutFront Minnesota delivers programs and services to the GLBT and allied communities in the areas of public policy, advocacy, education and training, anti-violence, schools, and the law.
Rainbow Families Rainbow Families works to build a safe, just, and affirming world for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender parents and their children.
Ally Training at Century College SEED and Minnesota GLBTA Campus Alliance offer Ally Training on campus. The next training will be held during fall semester 2009. Check back for details. These trainings are open to the entire campus community – students, staff, faculty, administrators.
